Nigerians’ quest for reliable and low bandwidth communication and telepresence services may be over soon as budding indigenous integrated services and communication solutions company, Renux Media, has signed gone into partnership with Peoplelink, a high-flying IT solutions company headquartered in India, to deliver low bandwidth unified communication and telepresence to Nigeria.

One of the products, “Peoplelink VC”, described as a solution “integrated with image capture and compression technology, which enables it to deliver utmost picture quality at any capture resolution” will be one of the solutions at the centre of the targeted service delivery.

A statement issued in Lagos by Renux Media explained further that “for video encoding, transmission and decoding, Peoplelink solution makes use of H.264 VBR/CBR encryption protocols for video and G.273, G.711 and GIPS as audio compression algorithms, which ensure a stable audio video clarity under all network bandwidth conditions.
