Our commitment to responsible electronic waste management and environmental sustainability
1. Introduction
PeopleLink Unified Communications Pvt Ltd E-waste program:
We Peoplelink Unified Communications Private Limited incorporated on July 2017 & Classified as a Private limited company. The Peoplelink Unified Communications Private Limited is engaged in the business of Importing of Electrical & Electronics products and located in Telangana, 500081.
As per E-waste Rule 2016, the E-waste defined as 'electrical and electronic equipment, whole or in part discarded as waste by the consumer or bulk consumer as well as rejects from manufacturing, refurbishment and repair processes.
This Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Plan ensures Peoplelink Unified Communications Private Limited complies with the E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016 and E-Waste (Management) Amendment Rules, 2018.
2. Brief on General Scheme of Collection
We have partnered with M/s E-Waste Recyclers India is itself a Recycler and Dismantler. M/s E-Waste Recyclers India is registered as a recycler with the Haryana State Pollution Control Board (HSPCB) for the management and recycling of E-Waste.
It is part of our agreement that M/s E-waste Recyclers India will collect e-waste generated from PAN India and recycle/dismantle the same at their plant at Industrial Shed no. 15, Rozka Meo Industrial Area, NUH, Mewat, Haryana, 122103.
M/s E-Waste Recyclers India is having all authorization related to e-waste recycling from HSPCB/CPCB and having all connects related to Air/Water/Hazardous waste and have capacity of 667 MT per annum.
For collection of e-waste, if any customer wants to handover their old product they can reach us on our Toll Free No 1800-102-5679. Our representatives explain them about process of disposal of e-waste and make them aware about nearest drop point. If any customer wants to handover the e-waste from their door steps we do send either our logistics team or our team to collect the items and channelize the same to our e-waste plant for final processing.
The Toll Free No 1800-102-5679 will be provided in the product brochure and on the marking stickers also. During the collection of the e-waste, Customer will be provided with the receipt with the product description that can be used to gain the benefits of our E-Waste Policies/Schemes.
M/s E-waste Recyclers India has signed an agreement with M/s Professional Logistics Pvt. Ltd for reverse logistics for Channelization of E-waste to the facility.

4. Specific Collection Schemes (Buyback, Exchange, New Products, etc)
Buyback
We will have a mechanism of incentivizing customer wants to return their end of life product (e-waste), whereby any of our consumer wants to discard their products. They call on our E-waste helpdesk. Once any call received by our e-waste helpdesk, our team directly calls them and makes agreement to collect the end of life product from their door steps and depending upon life of product, we do incentivize our customer.
Exchange
Exchange facility offer of every customer we will give them some discount (depending on quality of the old product) for exchange of their old products with new products so that customers can take benefits of this scheme and we can easily collect products at end of life and channelize them to recycler for recycling purpose.
New Products
After sales, we will regularly inform our customers about new product availability and offer them options to exchange their old products.
5. Do's & Don'ts
Do's
- ✓Always look for information on the catalogue with your product for end-of-life equipment handling.
- ✓Ensure that only Authorized Recyclers repair and handle your electronic products.
- ✓Always call our E-waste Authorized Collection Centres/points to Dispose products that have reached end-of life.
- ✓Always drop your used electronic products, batteries or any accessories when they reach the end of their life at your nearest Authorized E-Waste Collection Centres/Points.
- ✓Always disconnect the battery from product, and ensure any glass surface is protected against breakage.
Don'ts
- ✕Do not dismantle your electronic products on your own.
- ✕Do not throw electronics in bins having 'Do not Dispose' sign.
- ✕Do not give e-waste to informal (Kabbadi) and unorganized sectors like Local Scrap Dealer/ Rag Pickers.
- ✕Do not dispose your product in garbage bins along with municipal waste that ultimately reaches landfills.
