InfoComm India 2026 concluded on a high note at the prestigious Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC) in Mumbai. Held from 16 to 18 September 2026, India’s premier professional audiovisual and systems integration exhibition brought together technology leaders, consultants, enterprise decision-makers, and industry visionaries worldwide.
For PeopleLink Unified Communications Pvt. Ltd., InfoComm India 2026 was a pivotal platform to engage directly with the rapidly evolving AV ecosystem. As enterprise workplaces, educational institutions, and government infrastructures accelerate digital transformations, the demand for cohesive, reliable, and intelligent communication tools has never been higher. PeopleLink welcomed the opportunity to demonstrate how a unified approach can transform collaboration into an intuitive, productive experience for modern organizations.
PeopleLink at InfoComm India 2026: The Story Behind Booth G10
Booth G10 was established on one simple basis: to provide the full range of Video Collaboration Solutions from a single OEM.People who have set up a boardroom will tell you just how difficult multi-vendor arrangements can be; you get displays from company A, microphones from company B, cameras from company C, and then hope that the third-party control software will link everything together without any dropouts.
At booth G10 we aimed to demonstrate that there is no need to put together a patchwork. If the cameras, soundbars, interactive panels, switching equipment and management software all come from the same engineering company, then the whole installation becomes simpler. It was precisely this one-source method that led to most of the discussions from the moment the doors opened.
The A2Z of Pro AV Solutions Under One Roof
Instead of going through lengthy specification sheets, we arranged live, working environments that replicated modern workspaces. The following is what we went through throughout the exhibition floor:Intelligent Video Collaboration and Tracking Cameras
People who take part in a meeting frequently feel left out when the camera in the room remains fixed on a wide-angle view. At our video zone, visitors got to see our PTZ and voice-tracking cameras working. Rather than having someone manually switch between presets from a distance, the cameras automatically framed the speakers who were actively talking. The discussions in this area were all concerned with meeting equity ensuring that people taking part in video calls remain naturally engaged without the need to add manual controls to the table.
High-Fidelity Audio Gear
Poor video can be tolerated, but faulty audio ruins a meeting right away. We carried out live tests on our ceiling array microphones, our beamforming pods, soundbars, and our digital signal processors (DSPs). People walked around our booth to see how effectively the array was able to reject the background noise from the floor while at the same time clearly picking up voices being spoken all over the room.
Interactive Displays and Digital Signage
The interactive flat panels (IFPs) were kept busy throughout the exhibition. Visitors had the opportunity to test the latency of whiteboarding, the multi-user touch response, and screen-mirroring from their own devices. Next to these panels, our commercial displays and digital signage platform demonstrated the ease of pushing content schedules, alerts, and multimedia feeds to multiple locations from a single central browser tab.
Room Kits and Unified Control
It doesn’t matter whether you are fitting out a small four-person huddle room or an executive council hall: standard controls are important. We demonstrated pre-configured room packages that were linked to intuitive touch panels. Users could turn the display on with a single tap, change the input source, adjust the audio levels, and join a call accordingly. Integrators appreciated the fact that this reduced the number of daily user tickets.
Centralized Management and Collaboration Platforms
Half the struggle consists of hardware; day-two operations are just as important. We showed our device management consoles and collaboration platforms to IT administrators, explaining to them how they can audit devices, push firmware, and diagnose the health of rooms in multiple-city offices without having to leave their desks.
Three Days of Conversations, Demonstrations, and Connections
Over the course of those three days the energy kept our team going.Day 1: First Reactions and Hands-On Demos
On Wednesday the event opened swiftly. When the morning crowd had settled down, the visitors immediately moved on to our hands-on demo pods. The most attractive features were the speaker-tracking cameras and the interactive panels. A number of the attendees remarked that it was a pleasant experience to see an Indian original equipment manufacturer providing clean, enterprise-grade hardware which was on a par with international standards.
Day 2: Architecture Deep Dives and Enterprise Challenges
On Thursday, we had more in-depth technical talks. Various people, including system integrators, workplace strategists, and senior IT representatives, came by with detailed drawings of their sites and described the problems they were facing. We spent several hours discussing bandwidth limitations, network topology, room acoustic treatment, and schedules for rolling out the solution across multi-site corporate offices. The conversation shifted from “what does this feature do?” to “how quickly can our team deploy this in 50 rooms?”
Day 3: Long-Term Partnerships and Wrap-Up
On Friday, we focused on planning the future. Channel partners, regional distributors, and integrators joined us for in-depth partnership discussions. We reviewed partner-enablement initiatives, technical certification, and delivery roadmaps. Although our team was tired by the time the floor lights started to fade, we were truly energized by the enthusiasm and feedback we had gathered.
Connecting with the Wider AV Ecosystem
A example such as InfoComm India shows that excellent technology can never develop in isolation; real-world implementations need tight coordination throughout the entire channel, and we had the opportunity to speak with:- Which system integrators shared insights on cabling challenges, site readiness, and the relief of working with single-OEM hardware because it cuts commissioning time?
- AV Consultants: Which of them discussed our plans for upcoming workplace design trends, tender compliance, and setting realistic acoustic benchmarks for hybrid rooms?
- The distributors and dealers concentrated on maintaining consistency in the supply chain, ensuring regional inventory availability, and carrying out joint marketing initiatives.
- Who among the decision-makers in companies wanted to know the true costs of ownership, the curves showing end-user adoption, and the length of time a product would last?
- The technologists in the industry shared honest, practical feedback on UI flows, bracket ergonomics, and day-to-day cable management.
From each conversation, we gained genuine, practical insights that will directly shape our next product sprint.
Beyond Products: Why the Single-OEM Model Matters
One clear conclusion from our conversations is that organizations are fed up with vendors blaming one another. If a problem arises in a multi-vendor setup, identifying the root cause can take a long time: the display vendor blames the cable, the cable vendor blames the switcher. The switcher vendor blames the camera’s firmware.
By building our products to operate as a native ecosystem, PeopleLink eliminates that friction:
- Predictable Performance: We validate hardware and software together before they ever arrive on site.
- Faster Turnarounds: Installers deal with one set of configuration tools, one wiring logic, and zero compatibility guesswork.
- One Support Number: If a room has a glitch, your IT team calls one support team that takes full ownership of the entire chain.
- Familiarity for Users: An employee walking from a Bangalore huddle space into a Mumbai boardroom encounters the same interface and experience.
Key Takeaways from InfoComm India 2026
Taking a step back, here are five big industry shifts we observed during the show:- Single-OEM is Moving from Preference to Standard: Enterprises and integrators want clean, unified systems that simplify procurement and long-term maintenance.
- AI Needs to Stay Out of the Way: Users do not want flashy AI that confuses them. They want practical, quiet intelligence: background noise cancellation, auto-framing, and voice capture that work reliably in the background.
- Flexibility Beats Fixed Rooms: Spaces are changing fast. Workplaces want modular room setups that can pivot from everyday internal huddles to client presentations without requiring rewiring.
- OEMs and Integrators Need to Work as One: The most successful projects happen when the manufacturer works closely alongside the integrator from initial site survey to final handover.
- Simplicity Drives Adoption: Fancy features do not matter if an employee cannot figure out how to join a meeting in five seconds. Intuitive usability wins every single time.
