Audio Devices — Microphones, Wireless Systems, Speakerphones and Conference Systems

This Schedule applies to Products in Annexure A category 7 and Schedule is subject to Clause 6.8 of the Policy.

The Customer acknowledges that:

(a) radio-frequency performance is dependent on the spectrum environment at the site, which is outside PeopleLink's control;

(b) rechargeable cells lose capacity with charge cycles as an inherent electrochemical characteristic;

(c) echo cancellation and voice pick-up are specified for the room dimensions and acoustic conditions stated in the datasheet.

The following shall constitute a defect:

(a) microphone sensitivity deviating by more than ± 3 dB from the published specification;

(b) frequency response outside the published tolerance;

(c) wireless dropout, or range below eighty per cent (80%) of the published range, in a clear line-of-sight test conducted per the product manual;

(d) rechargeable cell capacity below sixty per cent (60%) of rated capacity within the cell warranty period or 500 charge cycles, whichever occurs first;

(e) failure of any published function of a conference or discussion unit, including microphone, speaker, voting and chairman-priority functions; and

(f) failure of a speakerphone to meet its published echo-cancellation or pick-up specification in a room within the datasheet conditions.

(a) Dropout, interference or reduced range attributable to spectrum congestion, third-party transmitters or building attenuation;

(b) cell capacity loss within the limits of S7.3(d), or after the cell warranty period;

(c) capsule contamination from moisture, breath or cosmetic residue;

(d) failure of a gooseneck or boom arising from flexing beyond the rated limit;

(e) performance in rooms outside the datasheet conditions.

Cover is conditional upon operation of wireless equipment on frequency bands permitted under applicable Indian law and regulation.

Return-to-base service as standard; on-site service for installed ceiling microphone arrays and multi-unit conference systems.

Windshields, pop filters, foams, ear cushions and tips, batteries, charging contacts, clips and carry cases.
