Podiums, Lecterns and Mobile Collaboration Units

This Schedule applies to Products in Annexure A category 4. Such Products are composite products within the meaning of Annexure A note ¹.

The structure, chassis, welds, finish, height mechanism, connector panel and integrated control system are governed by this Schedule. An integrated display is governed by Schedule 2; an integrated camera by Schedule 5; integrated audio equipment by Schedules 6 and 7; an integrated computing module by Schedule 10. All components share the Commissioning Date of the assembly.

The following shall constitute a defect:

(a) cracking, separation or failure of any weld or structural joint under rated load;

(b) blistering, flaking or corrosion of the powder coating, not being mechanical damage;

(c) failure, stalling or drift of the height-adjustment mechanism within 5,000 operating cycles;

(d) failure of a lock, hinge or gas strut within twelve (12) months;

(e) failure of a castor to rotate freely or to lock within twelve (12) months;

(f) failure of any connector on the connector panel within its rated insertion cycles, excluding damage from forced or reversed insertion; and

(g) failure of the integrated control system within the Warranty Period.

(a) Scratches, chips, dents and other cosmetic marks not reported within seven (7) days of delivery;

(b) gradual loss of gas-strut pressure after twelve (12) months;

(c) castor wear after twelve (12) months;

(d) shutdown or degraded performance of integrated electronics where ventilation apertures were obstructed.

Use on level surfaces within the rated load; ventilation apertures unobstructed; earthed, stabilised power supply as per S1.6(a)–(b); relocation between floors or buildings only by the method specified in the manual.

On-site service as first response, with component-level replacement at site. Where collection of the complete unit is required, PeopleLink shall arrange packing and transport.

Keys, locks, gas struts and castors beyond the periods in S4.3; grommets and cable-management fittings.
