Projection Screens, Retractable Screens and Monitors, and Document Cameras

This Schedule applies to Products in Annexure A category 3.

The Customer acknowledges that minor relaxation of screen fabric, including slight waviness toward the fabric edges, is an inherent characteristic of tensioned and free-hanging screen surfaces.

The following shall constitute a defect:

(a) waviness, curl or deformation of the screen surface visibly distorting the projected image when viewed from three (3) metres under normal room lighting;

(b) screen gain deviating by more than ± ten per cent (10%) from the published gain;

(c) failure, stalling or limit-drift of a motorised mechanism within 5,000 operating cycles;

(d) misalignment, stalling or abnormal noise of a retractable monitor lift within 5,000 cycles; and

(e) in a document camera, more than three (3) defective sensor pixels, any two adjacent defective pixels, or failure of focus or zoom travel.

(a) The matters acknowledged in S3.2 where S3.3(a) is not met;

(b) stalling of a mechanism caused by physical obstruction;

(c) gradual decline of a document camera illumination lamp, which is a wear part.

Mounting and structural fixing in accordance with the installation manual; operation within the rated duty cycle; limit switches not adjusted otherwise than by PeopleLink or an Authorised Service Provider.

PeopleLink shall determine, at its sole discretion, whether warranty service under this Schedule is rendered on-site or by return of the affected part to PeopleLink. Where PeopleLink so requires, the Customer shall dismount and despatch the device.

Remote controls, batteries, fuses and illumination lamps carry a warranty of six (6) months.
