Universal Endpoint

A universal endpoint is a room conferencing device designed to work across different meeting platforms and protocols. It lets a single room setup join calls on multiple services rather than being locked to one, which simplifies how teams meet.

They are used in meeting rooms, boardrooms, huddle spaces and training rooms where teams need to connect with partners and colleagues on different conferencing platforms from one consistent room setup.

A platform-specific endpoint is tuned for one service, while a universal endpoint is built to work across multiple platforms and protocols. This gives rooms more flexibility when guests and teams use different conferencing tools.

Consider the room size, the number of participants, the platforms your teams use, and whether you need video, audio and content sharing in one device. PeopleLink can help match a setup to your room and meeting needs.
