Does it work with PeopleLink room solutions?

Yes. Spatial DOA supports Linked Camera Tracking, so a PeopleLink Camera can follow the person speaking without an operator. PeopleLink supplies the Cameras, Audio, Control and Room Solutions alongside the tile, which keeps the room a single specification rather than a set of parts from different suppliers.

What room size does the AOE Ceiling Tile Mic Mini (R32) cover?

One tile covers spaces up to 40 square metres with a 4.5 metre pickup radius, and two tiles can be cascaded for a larger room. Its 8 Configurable Pickup Zones let an installer shape coverage around the seating plan. Share your room dimensions with a PeopleLink specialist to confirm the tile count.

Who installs and supports the microphone?

Installation, service and support are delivered through PeopleLink Partners and Resellers in your region, with PeopleLink AV Specialists supporting them on sizing and integration. Mounting is flexible, so the tile can follow the existing ceiling grid rather than forcing a change to the room.

Why does processing latency matter in a Meeting Room?

Latency is the delay between someone speaking and the far end hearing it, and delay is what makes people talk over each other. The Ceiling Tile Mic Mini (R32) keeps mixing output under 30 ms, so remote participants respond in time with the room. AI Echo and Reverberation Suppression works within that budget rather than adding to it.

How does a Ceiling Tile Mic fit a multi-site or campus rollout?

Rooms under 40 square metres take one tile and larger rooms take two cascaded, so a campus or an office estate can be sized from a simple room list. PoE+ means each room needs one cable run rather than separate power and audio. Regional PeopleLink Partners handle installation and support site by site.

Overview

What a Ceiling Microphone Array does in a Meeting Room up to 40 Square Metres

The PeopleLink AOE Ceiling Tile Mic Mini (R32) is a Ceiling Tile Mic for Meeting Rooms and Smart Classrooms of up to 40 square metres. Its 32-unit MEMS Array gives a 4.5 metre pickup radius across 8 Configurable Pickup Zones, and the tile takes power and audio over PoE+. AI Noise, Echo and Reverberation Suppression runs with processing latency under 30 ms, and Spatial DOA supports Linked Camera Tracking. It suits Enterprise and Education rooms and pairs with a PeopleLink Camera so the view follows the active speaker. Where one radius will not reach, two tiles cascade, keeping small and mid-size rooms on a single ceiling design.

The PeopleLink AOE Ceiling Tile Mic Mini (R32) is a versatile high-end microphone solution designed for enterprise meetings and educational environments. It integrates a 32-unit omnidirectional microphone array that creates precise audio beams to capture fine sound details. The system utilizes AOE digital audio technology for stable transmission and includes advanced AI algorithms to suppress background noise, reverberation, and echo effectively. Capable of covering spaces up to 40 square meters with a 4.5-meter pickup radius, it supports flexible installation options and connects easily via PoE.

Enterprise

Meeting Room Audio for a Bank

A bank's regional office standardises its Meeting Rooms, each under 40 square metres, on the PeopleLink AOE Ceiling Tile Mic Mini (R32). One tile per room covers a 4.5 metre pickup radius from the ceiling, powered and connected over PoE+, so the table holds nothing but laptops. Spatial DOA with Linked Camera Tracking lets the PeopleLink Camera follow whoever is speaking, and processing under 30 ms keeps conversation natural. Relationship managers join Video Conferencing calls the moment they sit down.

Education

Smart Classroom Audio for a University

A university equips its Smart Classrooms for Hybrid Teaching with the AOE Ceiling Tile Mic Mini (R32) mounted in the ceiling grid. The 32-unit MEMS array is divided into 8 Configurable Pickup Zones, so the lecturer's area and student rows can be weighted separately. AI Noise Reduction models tuned for educational environments handle background noise, while reverb and echo suppression clears the room's acoustics. Paired with a PeopleLink Camera, remote students hear questions from the floor as clearly as the lecture itself.

Government

Committee Room Audio for a Municipal Office

A municipal office replaces the tabletop microphones in its committee Meeting Room with two AOE Ceiling Tile Mic Mini (R32) tiles cascaded together, covering a room that a single 4.5 metre radius cannot reach. Powered over PoE+, the tiles carry audio to the room system over AOE with latency under 30 ms. AI echo and reverb suppression keeps recorded minutes intelligible, and the microphone works with common Video Conferencing platforms for sessions with district offices. Committee members speak from their seats, no handovers needed.
