Which casting protocols are supported?

It supports DLNA, Miracast, AirPlay and Chromecast, including mixed projection and USB or Miracast Touchback. Touchback means a presenter can drive their own laptop or a colleague's slides from an Interactive Display at the front of the room. Casting works from phones, tablets and laptops, so a visitor does not need a dongle or a driver.

What a BYOM Wireless Presentation System does in a Collaboration Space

The PeopleLink BYOM Wireless Presenter System is a Wireless Presenter System for Meeting Rooms and Collaboration Spaces that need Wireless Screen Sharing. It sends 4K pixel-to-pixel video to two displays at once and supports up to 128 connections with up to 9 Split Screens for Screen Casting over DLNA, Miracast, AirPlay and Chromecast. In BYOM mode the room Camera, Microphone and Speaker reach a laptop wirelessly, so the meeting runs on the platform the guest already uses. It sits alongside PeopleLink Cameras, Audio and Displays in the same room. An RS232 API and a built-in web back-end let AV Integrators fold it into an existing Control System.

The PeopleLink BYOM Wireless Presenter System connects the room display so it can be shared with remote meeting participants, giving in-room and remote attendees the same collaboration experience. It lets people wirelessly connect the room Camera, Microphone, Speaker and Display to their own laptop, with reverse transmission of video and audio back to the laptop during Wireless Conferencing.

It supports Dual Screen Collaboration for both local and remote meetings, and up to 9 Split Screens for Screen Casting. Built by one OEM, it pairs with PeopleLink Displays, Cameras, Audio and Room Solutions in Meeting Rooms and Collaboration Spaces.
