What image sensor and lens does the Eagle 4K Web Camera use?

It uses a 1/2.7 inch CMOS sensor with 8.29 Megapixels of effective pixels, behind an f=2.2mm lens giving a 120 degree field of view. That width fits two or three people at one desk rather than a single head and shoulders. Minimum illumination of 0.5 Lux, 2D and 3D Digital Noise Reduction and Backlight Compensation keep the picture usable in a dim room or against a window.

Does the Eagle 4K Web Camera support AI Tracking or Auto Framing?

Yes. Group Framing and Humanoid Tracking keep whoever is on camera centred as they move, and both run in the camera rather than on the host PC. The included IR Remote switches tracking or framing on, stores two presets and drives the electronic zoom. Manual colour and lighting settings are there for anyone who prefers to set the shot themselves.

How does the Web Camera connect and is it compatible with video platforms?

A single USB 3.0 Type-C cable carries video and power, drawing 5V from the host, and the camera works as a UVC device with UVC PTZ control on Windows, macOS and Linux. It is Plug and Play with common video conferencing, streaming and video production platforms, with no driver to install. PeopleLink also supplies the matching Audio, Control and Room Solutions for the shared rooms alongside it.

Who installs and supports the camera?

AI Group Framing and Humanoid Tracking hold the shot, a noise-cancelling microphone reaches 6 metres, and an Integrated Privacy Shutter covers the lens. One USB 3.0 Type-C cable powers it and carries video as a Plug and Play device on Windows, macOS and Linux with common video conferencing platforms.
